These new machines are among the first on the market to incorporate artificial intelligence (AI). With this technology, we’re taking ConnectKey technology to the next level. Xerox is striving to automate workflows that are time-consuming, energy-intensive and error-prone. These machines are aimed at medium-sized and large companies operating in a hybrid environment – with multiple sites, large offices and/or telecommuting.

Xerox Workflow Central taken a step further
The anonymization of documents, the conversion of handwritten notes into Word documents, or the generation of document summaries are now assisted by artificial intelligence. Cumbersome tasks can now be automated, which is a major technological advance, especially for companies wishing to digitize their archives.
We present the anonymization application, which uses AI to hide sensitive data. All you have to do is set search criteria and the machine will identify the important information to be hidden in the digital file.
The summary application impresses us the most. It generates concise summaries thanks to artificial intelligence.
Finally, the note conversion application now transforms your handwritten notes into clear text in a Word document, even if they’re taken quickly with just keywords.
AI also plays a role in everyday use. Depending on the user and his habits, your machine will suggest shortcuts, eliminating the need for time-consuming searches through printer settings.
This technological advance can, of course, be combined. Imagine being able to clean up handwritten notes and then summarize them. The AI is hosted on a highly secure server.
Safety & durability
If you’re a Xerox user, you know how much we care about security. We now offer three levels of security in our printers, adapted to the environment in which they will operate (Default, Enhanced and High).
What’s more, we’re the only company on the market to offer Trellix ePO (formerly McAfee), a centralized management platform for machine IT security. Integration of Cisco Identity Services Engine, a network access control solution, is also included.
As part of our commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2040, we have designed machines that are ENERGY STAR, EPEAT and Blue Angel certified.
Technical specifications
Compared to the AltaLink C8100, the main improvement is the adoption of a 256GB SSD hard disk (expandable to 1TB), making the machine much faster and more energy-efficient.
With this new Xerox range, you can scan documents faster, reaching 161/270 images per minute in duplex mode. The machine naturally scans both sides in a single pass.
The AltaLink now benefits from dual-band Wi-Fi to enhance user interaction. This technology offers a considerable advantage, with a stronger, more stable signal, higher transmission speed and lower energy consumption. Once again, we’re the only ones to offer Single Sign-On, an application that lets you log on to the various tools once, then identify yourself either by code, NFC or authentication card, and access all the tools to which you’re already connected.
